Vision & mission

Founded by Melis, Curated Aegean is the continuation of her love of the Aegean area. Having spent childhood summers with her family in Izmir and then living in Istanbul in her 20s, she now lives in Bethlehem, PA and want to introduce the world to the amazing products the Aegean region has to offer. She will curate and offer only products she believes in, while giving back to the community that shaped the woman she's become. 

At Curated Aegean we want to use our business as a force for good. On February 6, 2023 Türkiye was impacted by two (7.8 and 7.5) earthquakes with tens of thousands that have been killed and injured. With that in mind, we will donate 10% of our net proceeds to support earthquake relief in Türkiye by donating to The Turkish Philanthropy Funds: https://www.tpfund.org/2023/02/06/turkiye-earthquake-relief-fund/.
